Characteristics

Terra cotta is obtained from clay, which is mixed with water to produce loaf pans, which are then shaped and sized as desired. Once modeled, the bricks are left to dry and then baked at high temperature.

Finished bricks may be subject to further processing in order to improve their versatility and apply them to different styles: sanding gives them an antique finishing, while polishing confers to them a smooth, paved-like look, making them suitable for modern applications.

Terra cotta is highly durable and confers a natural and rustic look to any environment.
